Burundi: Does Pierre Nkurunziza really deserve the title of Supreme Guide for Patriotism? (First part)
It was June 8, 2021 that Burundi commemorates the death of former President Pierre Nkurunziza, which has also become a supreme guide for patriotism, a title forged by his CNDFDD party to give him colossal benefits at the end of his 4th term, origin of more misfortunes for Burundians. Unfortunately, he died without having benefited from these benefits of the Supreme Guide. Here, some would say that it is only the Tutsis and the political opponents who have been victims of the consequences of this illegal and illegitimate mandate, but they forget that even the members of his party who have not had the chance to receive juicy positions where they could steal the money from the Burundian taxpayer, have suffered a lot from the poverty become widespread following the sanctions imposed on the country by its partners
In one of our editions, we have shown the identity of the leaders who have borne the honorary title of supreme guide; Pierre Nkurunziza did not deserve this title saw the misfortunes and his system caused the Burundian people. The Honourable Fabien Bancyanino told the National Assembly in full session:  » A teacher who makes the majority of his students fail does not deserve to be listed Elite  »
We start a series of articles related to the life of former President Pierre Nkurunziza, born in Ngozi, death in Karuzi and buried in Gitega. Son of Eustache Ngabisha, Hutu and former MP and Domitille Minani, tutsie, Pierre Nkurunziza would have seen the killings of 1972 at the age of 8 years. He is among the leaders of the CNDDFDD who had a tooth against Tutsis pretending like the other Hutu extremists that the death of many Hutu in 1972 (that these same Hutus extremists continue to call genocide) is the work of Tutsis. The least virulent recognizes that it is the Micombero power that killed them, but continue to want to all the Tutsis as if Micombero has been mandated by the Tutsis to repress in the blood those who had attacked the country and killed Tutsis in the south of the country, but also, no doubt, many Hutus and a number of Tutsis who had nothing to do with this attack. Everyone is still of the opinion that no Tutsi citizen took a machete to kill his hutu neighbour. We recognize that some Tutsis had the order to say to the Hutus that they must present themselves in meetings to the heads of the municipalities or elsewhere without knowing exactly what would happen to them; But these people were killed. Some were even led in these places by Hutus like them without knowing what they will do it.
It has been found that the people of Father Hutu and Mother Tutsie have always been the most extremist in these ethnic crises that Burundi has known. Pierre Nkurunziza is among those, even if all those who knew him said he was not so extremist; And particularly during his first term, during which he even gave advantages of a lot of Tutsis who are not even necessarily from his political family. It was a way of attracting sympathies to establish his new power. But, in his deep interior, he died with this desire to finish with the Tutsis. He said so well by declaring that he was satisfied with having achieved his goal at more than three quarters and that who will succeeds him will be able to complete the mission during the first three years of his mandate. Those who listened to themselves asked what kind of mission he led to more than three quarters and who will be completed in three years of office of his successor and did not find an answer. It was no doubt not the development of the country. It was indeed the total annihilation if not the genocide of these Tutsis wrongly accused of being responsible for the Hutus dead in 1972. Indeed, the Tutsis and the Hutus of the opposition have been systematically killed, other imprisoned, other forced to exile. Evariste Ndayishimiye who succeeded him accelerated the pace and extent of the killings, no doubt he runs with the three years of which Pierre Nkurunziza spoke for completing his mission. Today, the Report of the Iteka League speaks of 60 Burundians dead for only the month of May 2021, 25 corpses have been collected here and there in the country and especially in the Cibitoke Province. Representatives of the Catholic Church in Burundi are also worried about killings that have taken a worrying pace in recent days.
URN Hitamwoneza believes that Burundians should think not to honours that former President Pierre Nkurunziza received from CNDFDD because it did not deserve them; but rather think about the victims of his reign; They struggled for respect for all the laws of the country who were violated daily by his power. The moment will come to put in their places all the criminals and honour the memory of the true patriots who died or who still suffer for the general interest of all Burundians.
